Dr. Nina Desai, MD FAAD
Dr. Nina Desai is a board certified medical and cosmetic dermatologist. She received
both her undergraduate degree and medical degree from Brown University, working
under some of the smartest minds in medicine. Her passion to understand skin disease
and how the skin heals led her to pursue research fellowships at both Harvard
University, and Cornell University where she published numerous papers and book
chapters on skin cancer and skin diseases, in particular in skin of color. She then
trained at St Luke’s- Roosevelt/Mt Sinai and Beth Israel Hospitals in New York City
where she was able to learn first hand how to treat skin issues in a very diverse
population.
Dr. Desai has been in private practice in both NYC and LA, before opening
her own practice in Manhattan Beach, Pure Dermatology & Aesthetics. Â In her practice,
whether she is treating acne, or skin cancer, she loves to educate her patients as to
why they are experiencing this condition and how they will manage it both in office and
at home. With her aesthetic patients, she loves looking at the entire picture, combining
numerous modalities including injectables, collagen stimulating devices, and light/laser
energy to give her patients the most natural, youthful look and their very best skin.Â
Her philosophy is simple, to help all of her patients achieve healthy beautiful skin so
they can look and feel their very best every day.

Dr. Mark Strom
Dr. Mark Strom
Dr. Mark Strom is a board-certified dermatologist who
practices general dermatology in New York City. He received his undergraduate
degree from the University of Minnesota where he graduated summa cum laude and
went on to receive his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg
School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. While in medical school, he published more
than 10 papers on the epidemiology and determinants of skin disease like atopic
dermatitis.
He completed his dermatology training at Columbia University
- New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Strom is passionate
about all areas of dermatology and particularly enjoys educating about the
origins of skin disease and how to create an effective skincare routine. He
creates content on both TikTok and Instagram as @dermarkologist.

Dr. Jenny Liu
Dr. Jenny Liu, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and assistant professor in the
Twin Cities. Her interests include ethnic dermatology, complex medical
dermatology, and medical education. Online Jenny discusses beauty trends,
skincare, and shares her life as a mother of two and a woman in leadership.

Dr. Russell Wong
Dr. Russell Wong
Dr. Russell Wong is a fully licensed medical and cosmetic Dermatologist. He graduated medical school from the University of Alberta where he received numerous accolades including the Undergraduate Prize in Dermatology. Dr. Wong completed his dermatology residency at the University of Calgary. While in residency he trained with some of the top surgical and cosmetic dermatologists around the world including those in Los Angeles, San Diego, Seoul and Singapore.
Dr. Wong is active in the dermatology community where he tends to hospital patients
while on-call and teaches dermatology residents. His clinical interests include
clinical trials, surgical and cosmetic dermatology where he is a key opinion leader for Allergan aesthetics. He is proficient at skin cancer screening and surgery, injectable fillers, neuromodulators and various other cosmetic procedures. Dr. Wong believes in a comprehensive approach to the skin, often addressing
different layers of the skin and making recommendations from within that can benefit his patients.

Through Alicia’s role as a trusted voice in the beauty community, she has been able to educate her audience across social media platforms on the biology of their skin and the ingredients which are best suited to address these concerns.
At Alicia’s London based skin clinic, she focuses on educating and empowering her clients through knowledge, whilst specialising in acne and hyperpigmentation treatments.
Alicia currently contributes to It’s A Lifestyle Hun and other publications where she shares her unbiased and informative skincare opinions. Additionally, Alicia has worked with both large and small brands on formulation consultancy.
